Product Description

β-Mannan is part of the soluble hemicellulose, which consist in many plant-based feedstuffs. Content of β-Mannan in feed formula could reach 1~3%. Water absorption rate of β-Mannan is much higher than that of xylan, which lead to lower intestinal absorptivity on glucose, amino acid and water and increase chyme viscosity. β-Mannan and it's derivative enable to stimulate too much or unnecessary immune response, which trigger feed-induced immune response and reduce growth performance. In the stress condition, negative effects of β-Mannan are much more significant.

1. In order to reduce the cost of feed, a large number of unconventional raw materials are often used, such as barley, wheat, cottonseed meal, rapeseed meal, palm meal, etc.. The contents of xylan, glucan, cellulose, mannan and other non starch polysaccharides and pectin in the raw materials are very high, and the digestibility of protein is low, which seriously affects the growth performance of livestock and poultry.
